This entire bed frame is built from nice-sized lodge pole pine logs and sturdy lumber. It includes full log side rails (no metal side rails) for added strength and to keep the rustic look a log bed was meant to have. Click on Construction Info link for more information on how this bed is built. Most lodge pole pine is white to light golden in color, however each bed will vary because every log has its own unique characteristics.

We just wanted to send a note to tell you how very pleased we are with our GoodTimber Rustic Bed. It is absolutely beautiful and quite unique. We had to get one of our side rails replaced before we could put it together and sleep on it, but the replacement rail was sent quickly. (It was UPS's fault about the rail, not Good Timber's).
