These custom bunk beds have the footboards built so they can be climbed as a ladder
or you can order a separate ladder to be attached to the side.
They are very sturdy and rustic giving any bedroom a cabin-like feel.

These beds comply with federal safety standards. Please ensure that the thickness of the mattress and foundation combined that you plan to use on these beds does not exceed 12 inches. This allows for plenty of room between the top of the mattress and the top of the guard rails to ensure the safety of those sleeping on the top bunk. This bed is designed to accommodate a bunkie board and mattress, not a box spring and mattress. You can order one of our bunkie boards, or supply one of your own. We also would to make you aware that we are meticulous when it comes to conforming with national safety standards for our bunk beds. Because of our safety-conscious design if you order any bunk bed with a larger bed on the bottom you'll need to slide your top mattress into place instead of setting it down directly from the top.

Side rail holes are drilled approx. 10" and 20" above the ground leaving approx. 7-9" of clearance underneath the bed.
